You will assist with product selection, manage transactions, and maintain the overall presentation of the store. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience.
• Restock shelves and ensure that products are well-organised and displayed attractively.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• A friendly and approachable with a commitment to providing excellent service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to changes in the retail environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £26,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
