Overview
Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is available if you want to switch employers and already live in the Catterick / Richmond / Leyburn areas.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care to individuals in the client’s home. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to care, patience, and the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during heavy lifting tasks.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being and companionship.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
• Ability to drive is essential, own car desirable but a company may be available.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care are essential.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to the specific needs of each client is crucial for success in this role.
• Ability to use your smart phone to record care

Pay: £14.50-£15.50 per hour
