Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a strong background in administrative tasks, team management, and clerical duties. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office environment while supporting staff and management alike.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Manage administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Supervise office staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is stocked and functional.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external contacts, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
- Utilise QuickBooks for managing financial records and invoicing.
- Organise meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff as required.
- Implement organisational systems to enhance productivity within the office.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an office management or administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in clerical duties including data entry and document management.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
- Experience in supervising teams and managing personnel is preferred.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
